Stock Futures Are Bouncing Back This Morning After US Stocks Moved Lower Last Week
U.S. stock futures are higher. Stock futures are bouncing back this morning after U.S. stocks moved lower last week. In the week up ahead, companies will continue to report earnings and markets will get a read on July inflation with the release of CPI and PPI on Thursday and Friday mornings respectively. Treasury yields are ticking higher and stabilizing after last week’s volatile trading. Earnings season is nearing its conclusion and so far 84% of S&P 500 companies have reported with 79% of those companies beating EPS expectations. Action in international equities is mixed. Asian markets finished the session without a clear direction ahead of Chinese trade data and inflation data reports scheduled for release later this week. European markets are mixed in afternoon trading as earnings season in Europe wraps up. The U.S. Dollar is easing while both gold and crude prices are moving lower.
