U.S. Stock Futures Are Higher After Yesterday's Hotter-Than-Expected CPI Report
U.S. stock futures are higher. Equity markets look to extend gains after yesterday’s hotter-than-expected CPI report sent markets lower before a comeback later in the day which saw the S&P 500 close up more than 2.5%. Treasury Yields are moving lower. Earnings season has kicked off with banks and other financial services companies reporting Q3 results. Asian markets closed higher and European markets are higher in afternoon trading amid speculation that the UK will reverse plans to implement controversial economic policies.
