U.S. Stock Futures Are Lower After a Hotter Than Expected Inflation Report
U.S. stock futures are lower. Equities are moving lower in the pre-market, extending losses on the week a after hotter-than-expected inflation report. Overall, economic data has been mixed and market participants expect the Fed to announce a third-straight 75 basis point rate hike at next week’s FOMC meeting. Treasury Yields are mixed and the US Dollar is pushing higher. Asian markets finished lower and European markets are also trading lower as global markets continue a move to the downside.
