U.S. Stock Futures Are Higher After Recovering From Earlier Pre-Market Losses

U.S. stock futures are higher. U.S. markets are indicating a slightly higher opening after recovering from earlier pre-market losses. Markets have been cautious as investors will tune in to Fed Chair Powell’s keynote address at 10 AM ET. Treasuries are mixed and the USD index is lower as recent gains continue to be digested. Gold is lower and other precious metals are mostly higher. PCE data showed July inflation softened month-over-month . UofM Consumer Sentiment Index will be released after the opening bell.
