U.S. stock futures are higher. 175 companies in the S&P 500 are set to report earnings this week. So far, 21% of companies in the index have reported, with 68% beating earnings expectations. Treasury yields are higher and the 2s/10s curve remains inverted. The Fed are expected to announce a 75 basis point rate hike Wednesday afternoon amidst a busy week for economic data. Initial data for Q2 GDP will be released on Thursday and PCE inflation data will be released on Friday. Asian markets closed mostly lower and European markets are higher in midday trading.
