U.S. Stock Futures Are Lower While Investors Await Key Economic Reports
U.S. stock futures are lower. Investors are waiting for key economic reports and FOMC minutes from its June 14/15th meeting minutes today at 2 pm and the employment report is due Friday morning. Concerns, such as aggressive Fed policy and economic slowdown, have adversely impacted sentiment and pressured markets lower. This morning, the yield curve is inverted, with the 2y treasury at 2.79% versus the 10y at 2.76%, yields have been trending lower over the past week. Global energy prices are starting to stabilize with both WTI & Brent trading higher. European markets are up and Asian equities are lower.
