U.S. Stock Futures Are Lower After Posting Gains Yesterday

U.S. stock futures are lower. After posting gains yesterday, U.S. equity markets are indicating a lower open this morning. Treasury yields are moving higher. Jobless Claims came in at 193k which was lower than estimates of 215k and Q2 GDP came in unrevised at -0.6%. Asian markets closed lower and European markets are lower in midday trading after the Bank of England announced yesterday that they would purchase long-term bonds to ease market turmoil. Tomorrow morning’s PCE data will provide investors with another read on inflation data for August.
