U.S. stock futures are higher. U.S. stock indexes look to add to gains made over the past two days as companies continue to report earnings. Treasury yields are lower with the 2-yr at 3.18% and the 10-yr at 2.99% as markets anticipate next week’s FOMC meeting. Weekly jobless claims came in higher than anticipated at 251k (vs. est. 241k). Asian markets closed mixed. European markets are mixed in midday trading after the ECB announced a rate hike of 50 basis points, marking the beginning of a rate hiking cycle in the European Union. The Euro strengthened against the Dollar after the announcement.
