U.S. Stock Futures Are Higher After The Holiday Weekend
U.S. stock futures are higher. U.S. pre-markets are indicating a higher open after the holiday weekend. Markets are looking to snap a three-week decline for the S&P 500. Treasury yields are higher across the curve. European markets are trading higher in afternoon action after yesterday’s declines in response to Russia shutting down the Nord Stream 1 pipeline indefinitely and OPEC+ announcing small cuts in production. The ECB is expected to announce a 75 bps rate hike at their policy meeting on Thursday. Asian markets closed mixed. WTI and Brent Crude are trading lower.
On the U.S. economic calendar, ISM Services Index data will be released after the bell this morning.
