Markets Are Set for a Lower Open Today and US Treasury Yields are Mixed.
U.S. stock futures are lower. Markets are set for a lower open today and US Treasury Yields are mixed. Corporate earnings continue to be in focus. On the economic calendar, US PMI data will be released after the bell. Yesterday the Leading Economic Index showed a 1% decline month-over-month which was lower than expectations of a 0.7% decline. European markets are moving lower in reaction to regional PMI releases and Asian markets are mostly on holiday while Australian and Japanese markets finished the session lower. Crude oil is modestly lower. Gold and the US dollar are unchanged.
