U.S. stock futures are higher. Futures are rising and bond yields are dropping as company earnings reports continue to trickle in. PMI Flash data will be released shortly after the market open today as economic data has taken a backseat to earnings so far this week. Tomorrow morning before the open there will be a slew of economic data released: durable goods orders, Q4 GDP, international trade and weekly jobless claims. The week will commence with the release of December PCE inflation data on Friday morning. Overnight, Asian markets closed mostly higher, led by massive gains for the Hang Seng Index which finished higher for the second day up 3.56% to recover some of the recent significant declines in Chinese markets. European markets are also trading higher in the afternoon session. Crude oil and gold prices are higher, meanwhile the U.S. Dollar is seeing significant weakness giving a boost to commodity prices.
